Buy a mobile which reflects your personality.
I'm a SE fan too.
If you are only in for music and do not want to cramp your style by carrying a bulky mp3 player or pda in your jeans pocket, then u need a small but efficient mp3 mobile phone.

I wouldn't recommend k800i, as the phone is great in its segment, it gets pretty bulky in your pocket, also the camera protection slider is a pain.
for cost effective and great music with good battery life, i would suggest W700i. great phone. fully loaded, memory upgradable.
W880i is a new gen mp3 phone with the slimmest form factor amongst other. then again the price itself and yet to launch. not forgetting the price of the new format micro stick memory card.
If you are interested only in a huge collection of mp3's and do not mind if no camera. Then i would recommend the W950i. Its 4GB capacity is enough to hold all your daily mp3's, pictures, software's. a good touch screen, but comes with a price and is a bit bulky for your jeans.

happy shopping

I have had Nokia phones all my existence, so i will say Nokia. The Sony Ericsson telephone I had for a at the same time as became magnificent, yet i'm a diehard Nokia fan. they're solid phones, so in case you've a tendency to be klutzy like me, that isn't any longer very in all probability you'd be wanting to purchase a sparkling Nokia. satisfied finding out on!

There's a lot to like about Sony Ericsson's music phones; not only do they travel in style - there's also plenty to choose from. We round up the hottest ones out now and sneak a peek into the crystal ball.

Sony Ericsson W800i

Read the full article » Music is key in Sony Ericsson’s first Walkman branded handset, the W800i. Outstanding audio quality combines with a user friendly interface to make for a compelling music experience fully capable of replacing lower-end MP3 players. The 512 MB of memory provided out-of-box is a bit cramped, though, which is unfortunate given the limited synchronization capabilities. This becomes even more of a pressing issue when the handset’s 2 Megapixel camera - in itself a high-performing feature - is taken into consideration. Still, there’s no denying that the W800i is a solid choice for feature-lusting handset buyers. Read the full article »
Sony Ericsson W550

Score: 60% When: October 2005 Worth: €350

Sony Ericsson W550

Read the full article » The Sony Ericsson W550 is obviously an all-round handset, aiming to provide a well-rounded feature set including a 1.3 megapixel camera and 256 MB of storage whilst also incorporating relatively innovative features such as a Walkman branded music player and landscape mode gaming. The lack of a means of memory expansion is disappointing, but all in all, the Sony Ericsson W550 stands out as the most capable handset available in the crowded mid-range at the time of writing. Sony Ericsson W900i

Score: 80% When: December 2005 Worth: €550

Sony Ericsson W900i

Read the full article » As a 3G phone, the Sony Ericsson W900i falls short only in the areas of web browsing and battery life - the latter of which is due to its extensive feature set. Despite these shortcomings, however, the handset goes on to impress with snappy and comprehensive connectivity, hassle-free video calling and a glorious high-resolution screen. As for music, the W900i does an admirable job of replacing lower-end MP3 players with its high sound quality and intuitive user interface, but doesn’t offer the most extensive memory with only 512 MB out-of-box. Sony Ericsson W810i

Score: 80% When: April 2006 (Cingular) Worth: €425

Sony Ericsson W810i

Read the full article » Picking up where the W800i left off, the Sony Ericsson W810i offers improved music navigation in tandem with the same excellent music management capabilities and decent amount of bundled memory as its predecessor. Out-of-box audio quality is on par with the high standards we've come to except from the handset maker, while we’re slightly disappointed by the lack of stereo Bluetooth audio. These niggles aside, the W810i makes for a stellar music phone with side servings of a 2-megapixel camera and EDGE. Read the full article »
Sony Ericsson W700i

Score: 65% When: May 2006 Worth: €350

Sony Ericsson W700i

With 256 MB of bundled memory and a 2 Megapixel camera sans autofocus, the W700i is, in essence, a W800i light - although with speedy USB 2.0 as a welcome addition. Numerous software installs present something of a hassle, but the handset itself offers the Sony Ericsson interface we've come to know and love - background music playback included. Sound, screen and overall performance all qualify for the mid-range, as does battery life with approximately 3.5 hours of talk, 6 days of standby and 15 hours of music playback in its Walkman mode. Its €350 price tag renders the maker's own W550/W600i slightly cheaper, but the W700i remains our preferred choice due to a better overall score.

Although bested by the 8 GB Samsung SGH-i310, its 4 GB of flash memory should allow for considerably longer battery life - and despite its spacious storage and superb screen, the handset remains ultra-slim at 15 mm thick.
