depressed- always Norah Jones.
Cheerful, anything upbeat, but from the 70s or 80s... my favorite era.

I guess when I'm depressed, gansta rap gets me flowing. When I'm in a good mood, some good pop songs. I never listened to that Unwritten song when it came out, but I like it now.

I listen to things that make me cry lol so I can get it out, usually stuff I can relate to, rock,punk,'emo',indie,alternative etc.
Good stuff that makes you happy is
HAPPY HARDCORE
its really fast techno music that gets you all hyperactive!
I'll stick to my depressive though heh.

Mylene Farmer, The Cure, Enigma, and of course Mandalay! :) Which.. some of those also are around in happy times, they are mostly when I feel standoffish..

I like to listen to soft stuff such as Enya ect, helps you remember how precious life is when your down.
Piano is also excellent for that kinda thing.
