has anyone had a bad reaction to honey?

i'm 23 years old i've had honey before but i recently bought some honey and ate some and it made my gums lips and teeth tingling and it made my gf's gums tingling why is that?

It all comes down to the plant the honey came from and what chemicals it contains. Honey can be toxic if made from poisonous plants. I would definitely contact the person you bought it from and let them know, just in case their bees are around some such plant.
