I'm not sure where you are located, so it is always good to look into what is available to you. To buy tickets, the best thing to do is buy them before you leave. Disney offers advanced purchase prices, which gives you a little discount over the price that you pay at the gate, it isn't a huge savings, but it is worth it for just simply buying them before you go.

Here is my answer to other questions about buying tickets:

I strongly recommend going directly with Disney or your travel agent to get the ticktes, for several reason.

1). Disney tickets now expire 14 days after the first use, this means that, unless the no-expiration option is added on, the tickets will be no good several weeks or years down the road, but for the next 14 days. Most people don't purchase the no-expiration option, but people will still sell the tickets online that they have used, so you are basically buying an empty ticket.

2). Even if you are getting a ticket that still has days left on it, the tickets are non-transferable. Once you use your ticket the first time, you scan your fingers into a biometrics system so that only you can use that ticket. If you go to the park and use someone elses ticket, you will have to proove that you actually are the person on the ticket, or you will have to buy a new ticket.

3). Aside from the tickets just being a scam and you getting nothing for the money you spend, a lot of what you will find online is going to be a timeshare deal. Basically, you sit through a presentation, usually several hours long, and they will either give you free tickets or a lower rate, or something like that. This is not something I really suggest doing, but if you don't mind it, then it is a good way to get some free tickets.

When you are in Orlando, if you wait to buy your tickets, there will still be a lot of places advertising lower cost tickets. Most of these will be scams or the timeshare deal.

If you buy your tickets from Disney, or a TA, you will get an advance purchase savings. It isn't a huge savings, but it is something. The longer your pass is, the lower your cost is per day, and you can get them for around $30, plus any add ons you do. So, Disney does offer some pretty good rates for tickets.

Also check out Mousesavers, they have a newsletter you can sign up for and get info on discounts and things.

Finally, AAA would be another option. I believe you have to do a 2 or 3 day pass before they offer any savings, however. If you are not a member, make sure you check how much you would actually save and what the cost of membership is. The savings may not be good enough to buy the membership and still save.

Personally, I always book a package with Disney, just so I can ge the dining plan. I go to Disney enough that I could get an AP and be done with it, but I like the dining plan so much I just buy my tickets each time (even though I could have my AP and just buy a one day base to get the dining) So, if you will be staying onsite, look into doing a package. The dining plan can save you 40% off of your food, it is a really great deal and you get a lot of food.

Have a great time!

Definitely Buy It Here!!! Not Only Will It Save You Time But You Don't Have To Wait On Really Long Lines In Disney!!! Just Go To Any Disney Store In Your Nearest Mall. But Be Sure To Not Loose The Tickets!!

Buy them here, ahead of time.

We just got back from Disneyworld a week ago. I bought numerous tickets from www.undercovertourist.com at a great discount. They were totally legit, and all the passes were perfect, original passes. We bought 3 day hopper passes with 3 FREE DAYS (6 day hoppers) for the total price (taxes included) of $244 each. That was cheaper than buying 3 day hoppers direct from Disney. All the passes worked great, and I will definitely order from them again. I searched and searched before finding them, and would recommend them to anyone. We got many tickets, and spent more than $2,000 with them, and paid on line. The tickets were received very quickly through the mail. Make sure you order with enough time to receive them through the mail. I think you can pick up in Orlando area once you get there, but just getting them through the mail was easier.

They had tickets in all varieties. You can get 10 day hoppers, you can add on the water parks, you can even add on the no expiration option for an additional fee. Their site is very user friendly, enjoy your trip to Disneyworld!

I've seen posters say there are no discounted tickets - they're wrong. Someone also said there's a catch - not with Undercover tourist. I will agree that once you get to Orlando area, there are lots of 'stores' that are offering discounted tickets, that you have to view a timeshare or something. This is NOT the case with Undercover Tourist. I paid online, I recieved my passes, I went to Disneyworld, visited every park (at least once), and used each day of our 6 day hoppers. No catches.

We also got a deal on our Seaworld tickets, directly through the Seaworld website. We got adult tickets for $56 each, with an extra free day. Not a huge savings, but every bit helps! They were 'e tickets', and you had to get them 10 days ahead of the trip, if I remember correctly.

Buy in Advance! You will pay alot more for the tickets if you pay as you enter plus the queues are madness!

Check out www.keithprowse.com for theme park tickets, or the 'Orlando Flexticket' is an even better deal, you pay £120 for 5 days worth of passes. However you have to go to your travel agent to buy these, you cant purchase them online direct. This is what I always use - its great!

It depends on whether or not your are saving money. If you are going to save some money then i would buy them online, but if you are not going to save anything then I would just buy them once you got to Orlando.

Remember that it is always safer to buy them in person, but you also have to wait in the long lines to get the tickets, the heat, and sometimes that can take alot of time in itself.

You can buy them online and not wait in the lines, but sometimes you never know how lagit those online things are.
You could always go to the official website of where you are visiting and buy the tickets there and get them for the same price and know that it is secure.

It's always better to purchase them in advance (unless you are getting them included with a package then you receive them upon your arrival). Purchasing in advance sometimes may be less expensive, it avoids the LONG lines at the ticket booths (who wants to stand in the Florida sun in a line when you could be playing in the parks!)
