I recently had an exploratory laparoscopy to remove fibrous tumors and to manage my outrageous endometriosis. Now I have this hideous scar. It was a bikini incision and no one can see it, but I hate it. I know I'm being silly, but I really hate it. It doesn't even bother my fiance, but I just don't like it. I've been using pure vitamin E oil and the skin is soft, but the scar is still extremely visible.
Question:
Does anyone have any tips on making the scar less visible?

There is nothing that will take that scar away. I had a c-section 5 and a half years ago and i was cut just like you and the scar is still there. It is not bad looking, you can't really tell it and no one sees it so really i wouldn't worry about it.
Good luck

I had a c section 3 and a half years ago, so i know it looks really bad now but give it time and it will definantley be less visable mine is barely noticable. Keep using your vit E oil as it heals at 1 percent per day so give it time, i didnt even use it as a scar did'nt bother me but have heard it is great! (it also depends on the sergeon and how good of a job he done but it will for sure fade with time )......
