Well, keyloggers are softwares for recording keystroke on a computer. in this way, when we sign in to yahoo messenger from someone else's computer, he/she may be using a keylogger which might secretly record my ID and PASSWORD.
the PROBLEM is, i have to go to cyber cafe's very often. someone might be using a keylogger in those computers.
so HOW SHOULD I PREVENT MYSELF FROM SUCH KEYLOGGERS ??

Well one way that I found quite useful was to go into the task manager "Ctrl + Alt + Delete" (For XP) and then see if something looks suspisious.
Also, if you couldn't find something, then open a text document and have the task manager open at the same time. Keep a letter key pressed for 5 seconds (this should result in a series of those letters). While doing so keep your eye on the task manager. If there is a program that is usning alot of the CPU resources while you do that, and looks suspicious, you'd probably want to terminate that process.
Else spyware removal software is always a good option. NOD32 is a very good Anti Virus and removes spy ware as well.

First get a firewall like ZoneAlarm.
Other basic prevention methods are
1. NOT to open any JPEG.PNG. pictures from unknown sources coz loggers are mostly binded with pictures and send. As you opne it , they get installed.
2. NOT to open suspicous links.
Sometimes Loggers are dropped behind a URL
3.Look in the task manager for unfamiliar processes running. Coz lame loggers are NOT binded in the process and they show up as different entity.
Finally, there is NO patch for Human stupidity. If you feel that some cafes have loggers do not use them. Or download any firewall/ online scanner and check and then use the puter.

If you use other people's/cafe computers, it is a risk you take. The only option you have is to change your password frequently.
