Can you add HTML code into a Microsoft Sharepoint page?

Sharepoint doesn't support the ability to edit HTML content.


SYMPTOMS
You use an HTML editor, such as Microsoft Office FrontPage, that is compatible with Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services to edit HTML content. The HTML content is hosted on a computer that is running Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. When you click the Styles list, you receive the following error message:
