Methane, Nitrous oxide, Deforestation, City gridlock, Carbon in atmosphere and ocean, are the other causes of global warming...

Methane (CH4) is another factor. Formed by decay of orgainic matter. Some environmentalist are thus against ruminant animals like cows which they believe produce lots of methane gas in their digestion process.

Some say that there is a direct correlation to global warming and the hot air exhausted by Hollywood Al.

i thought i was something about the Ozone layer and the hole.

Humans

Global warming is normal and natural. Deforstation does not cause it. In fact the US has more trees now than ever in history. Trees create Methane a warming gas. Cows create more problems than all of the transportation combined. The planet has had periods in the past where there was not any ice on either pole. Vulcanoes and the suns spots are the biggest climate shift causual agents. Not man.

Humans not taking care of the planet

This past February, I attended two lectures on global warming. [See source.] One by the Climatology Lecturer at Penn State (PSU) and the other by a Ph.D. candidate whose dissertation dealt with polar conditions under global warming.

The PSU lecturer listed several causes, of which CO2 was just a 24% contributor to global warming. Other contributers are water vapor and an increase in solar energy the Earth is receiving. He contended that man caused global warming was overrated and yet unproved for the lack of sufficient data.

On the other hand, the PhD candidate claimed what Al Gore claims [See source.]; mankind is the sole cause for the excessive rate of onset and anticipated unprecedented warming of this warming cycle. In fact, proxy data collected from hundreds of thousand of years ago (through gases captured in Antarctic ice), show this current warming cycle is coming on faster and heading higher than ever before on Earth. It is going to be "off the charts" as Al Gore puts it.

So far Big oil has only been able to pay off about 3 percent of the climat scientists world wide. this 3 percent all come from small unknown colleges. They seem to be the most ethically challenged
