I have a 31 day cycle usually which means I should ovulate around the 17th day. Well I am still not pregnant. I have been using a fertility monitor which has now (for the second month running) given me a sign that it is possible I can get pregnant yesterday and today (this being my 7th day of my cycle). Is it possible? Is this where I have been going wrong? can anyone help?

I would recommend that you chart your body basal temperature (BBT) and cervical mucus to determine when you are fertile. Using these methods will help you find the time that you ovulate so that you can also time when you have intercourse. The fact that you have regular cycles is a good sign that things are fairly normal - but appearances can be deceiving!! Sometimes it is possible to have a normal cycle but not ovulate (its called an anovulatory cycle and will occur from time to time even with the healthiest of women) There are lots of ttc websites which can help you out! good luck
