lol. Thats the same as me, im the same age as you and I have the same problem, thats why I am on the computer this very instant.
There are a numerous number of ways to fight this urge. One ask someone you trust (parent/sibling) to come and check on you every 5 minutes or so to make sure you are at your studies. If you were doing something else every five minutes , it would be bothersome keeping switching or pretending to study so you might as well keep studying.
Secondly, pull out the plugs, if you do this and in the end put them back in, I suggest you cut them (note not recommended if your poor), but only if your really desperate.
Thirdly, you could ask one of your parents/siblings to assign a password to your computer so that you can't go on it even if you wanted to.
I have hoped this had helped you.

I hear ya. It's an addiction I'm dealing with too. Do what I try to do...pull the plugs on the computer and the TV, and then re-plug them at night. Avoid staying at home, because when no one's watching u may wanna plug both back in, so to counter that take ur books and all to the local library and stay there for at least a good couple of hours or so. Unfortunately most libraries are wired too, so I suggest you try to find a secluded place away from those desktops, if possible. Also excercise as a substitute helps in taking away minutes away from TV and the computer, and makes you feel good enough that you don't need a 'fix' on something else. Work on a reward type basis, try to make commitments, stick with them and even write them down or table them if you really need to. A good friend can help keeping you on track of your plans. Best of luck.
Edit
Remember it is an addiction, and if it's really bad, professional help may not be a bad idea.

Spend full time of one week by spending time on computer and tv....,be on there untill you feel detriment when you see them. After that you may feel a hateness on them, and feel to concentrate on your studies.
