I guess it's a matter of personal preference. I would rather own a Toyota/Lexus/Scion or an Nissan/Infiniti than a Honda/Acura. My next car will be an Infiniti M35 Sport which absolutely tramples the Acura RL in EVERY aspect.

I think JD Powers rates Toyota/Lexus above Acura/Honda in terms of reliability. I'm ALMOST certain!

hmmn, i would say yes, but you do pay more for a honda in most cases. so dollar for dollar, toyota and nissan wouldnt be far off if you spent equal amounts. but i reckon toyota are great because they dont break and if they do, they are heaps cheaper to fix and service for that matter.

not really... back in the 90's honda technology was simple yet effective plus their cars look good in those days.. When i ask people, only one answer.. its simply a better car...

Yes, there most reliable car, the civic, cannot have engine problems no matter how bad you treat it. There has never been a report or complaint of the engine having any problems.
