does anyone know of any airlines that are running any specials from the philippines right now. i have no family in the states and i have a 1 year old daughter here and we need to find a very cheap ticket to the u.s. the baby is already an american citizen and we have our passports. something happened here and we need to come home now i have no one in the states that i can get to help me.

Before concerning yourself with discounted airline tickets, there's one area i think you should be concern about. The Philippines, nowadays, are very strict on the area of parental abduction, so much so, that unaccompanied children or children travelling with only one parent are subject to extreme scrutiny by the Department of Social Welfare Administration at the airports. I have heard of cases were actual parent friends of mine experienced delays due to the lack of proper documentation with regards to their kid travelling abroad. If there is only one parent travelling with the child, they require an affidavit on the other parent or evidence on why this is so. Just thought you would want to know.

I would check the usual web sites, expedia, travelocity, etc to compare fares. One never knows what you can find.
