Hey, I think your friend should do HIV and sexual diseases tests in priority, she should also get ENTIRELY checked at her GP.
That's what I would DEFINITELY do if I was having doubts.
Anyway, I think getting checked for HIV should be a STANDARD thing to do, I have personally done it 3 times already and I'm only 20, just because I think it's important to be safe and aware and do not take any risk with anyone.
Then, if her moral/psychological health is okay, maybe just spending time with close friends and recollecting her thoughts is the best, or if not, maybe talking to someone is right...
Finally, ALWAYS make sure that you/her/everyone buy their drinks themselves, stay with friends ALL evening long including on the way back home, and hold your drink quite close at any time.
Some people in this world are devils, and it's not paranoia to be safe, it's sensibility.I hope your friend is okay.

I've had my drink spiked before, it involved me taking one rum and coke and then blacking out in the bathroom, everytime i woke up i was vomiting everything in my stomach.. i was grinding my teeth aswell.
I've also got an astonishingly high tolerance so thats really where we knew something was wrong.
But, i do have a friend that says her drinks been spiked almost everytime she drinks a little too much, im pretty sure she's allergic to alcohol and just doesnt react well too it. It once happened at a small gathering of friends, same reaction to me when i was drugged but she was pouring her own drinks!!
Don't worry about it too much if you're feeling fine, make sure next time you're out you keep an eye on your drink at all times, if its been left on the table get a new one.. and keep a bottle of water with you..
Hope that helps!

It doesn't sound like she was drugged to me. The point of drugging drinks is to knock you out cold. If she is only missing small bits then it is likely she was just drunk.
Is she hurt? Why does she think she was attacked? If its only that she can't remember bits then she is listening too much to media hype. I know a lady who was drugged and raped, she can't remember much about that night at all but she knows what happened to her due to her injuries.
I would talk to your friend about how much she had to drink I'm pretty sure the answer is there. Also where were her friends? Who let a girl walk home on her own? Please look out for one another - even just drunk she could have got into a horrible situation.

Drink spikingIntroductionDrink spiking is when a mind-altering substance such as drugs or alcohol has been added to your drink without you knowing. Mind-altering means that it may affect how you act, or how you behave with other people.
There are many reasons why someone might spike a drink, but the most common reasons are for amusement, or to carry out sexual assault, rape, or theft.
Symptoms of drink spiking will depend if a drug was used, and how much alcohol you have drunk. You will need to have your blood or urine tested to confirm that you have been spiked with drugs.
Drink spiking is illegal, even if an attack or assault has not been carried out. It can result in a maximum of ten years in prison for anyone who does it.
It's not only females who are likely to have their drink spiked. Almost 11% of people who report having their drink spiked are male.
Drink spikingSymptomsIf your drink has been spiked, symptoms depend on what drug was used, as well as factors like your body shape and size, your age, and how much alcohol (if any) you have drunk.
Any drug could be used to spike a drink, but the most common used are:
gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB), flunitrazepam (also called rohypnol), and ketamine. These drugs act as an anaesthetic when mixed with alcohol, reducing a person's ability to resist sexual assault or robbery. They are usually tasteless, odourless, and have no colour. Therefore, it's hard to tell if your drink has been spiked by tasting, smelling or looking at it.
If your drink has been spiked with GHB, flunitrazepam, or ketamine, symptoms normally come on within 5 to 20 minutes, and can last as long as 12 hours. However, symptoms can vary depending on what drug has been used. Common symptoms include:
dizziness, and difficulty walking, confusion or feeling of disorientation, especially the next day, or after waking up after you have been asleep, nausea, or vomiting, hallucinations, tiredness and fatigue, difficulty speaking, or slurred speech, visual problems, especially blurred vision, paranoia (a feeling of fear, or distrust of others), and loss of memory (amnesia), especially about things that have recently happened. Very rarely, high doses of some drugs used to spike drinks can cause muscle spasms, coma and even death.
Drink spikingWhat to doIf you begin to feel really drunk after a small amount of alcohol, or you think that your drink has been spiked with drugs, get help from a friend, relative, or a senior member of management in the club or pub you are in. Get to a place of safety as soon as possible, and only go home with someone you totally trust. If you are with people you don't know, contact a trusted friend or relative to pick you up and look after you.
If you are experiencing symptoms such as drowsiness, vomiting or hallucinations, you should visit your GP or local Accident and Emergency (A&E) department immediately.
You should also contact the police as drink spiking is illegal. The police may ask to take a blood or urine sample from you so that it can be tested for any unusual substances.
Most drugs leave your body within 12-72 hours, so it is important you are tested as soon as possible if you think your drink has been spiked.
Drink spikingPreventionIf your drink has been spiked, you may not be able to see, taste or smell any difference so it is important that you try to prevent it happening. Follow these guidelines to lower the risk of getting your drink spiked:
keep your drink in your hand, and hold your thumb over the opening if you are drinking from a bottle, keep an eye on friend's drinks, don't leave your drink unattended, stay away from situations that you don't feel comfortable with, never accept a drink from anyone you don't know or trust, do not share or exchange drinks, or drink leftover drinks, if you go on a date with someone you don't know, tell a friend or relative where you will be and what time you will be back, and drink from a bottle rather than a glass when you can, as it's more difficult to spike a drink in a bottle. Some pubs and clubs can provide devices such as lids to put on bottles, which can lower the risk of your drink being spiked. Some can also provide kits that can test your drink to see if it has been spiked. If you think that your drink has been tampered with, don't drink it.

I would say that it is possible having had your drink spiked to still remember parts of the evening. If your friend had been attacked they would know about it afterwards because there would be some kind of bruising on the body and obviously if a sexual assault took place it would be impossible not to know about it as there would be some kind of evidence.
