Frankly, though it is not correct or ethical to present such drastic and cold statement, the experiences that we have seen over the last twenty to twenty five years indicate that THE CONGRESS PARTY WHICH WAS ORIGINALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR AND INVOLVED IN THE SUCCESS OF INDIA'S FREEDOM, HAS NOW DEGENERATED INTO A BUNCH OF JOKERS, BROKERS AND SYCOPHANTS WHO HAVE ALL CONGREGATED INTO A GROUP TO SOMEHOW CLING TO POWER AND NOT TO BE THE ORIGINAL SOCIALISTIC PARTY OF THE COMMON PEOPLE. The only method now to revamp and rejuvenate the party is by either BANNING ALL THE LIVING NEHRU/ GANDHI FAMILY PERSONS FROM THE PARTY OR SOMEHOW THROW THEM OUT. Such a thing would not only do good to the party but India may perhaps have the possibility to resuscitate into developing by leaps and bounds.
It should also be mentioned that NO OTHER PARTY ACTUALLY HAS THE MOST APPROPRIATE FUNDAMENTAL THEMES TO DEVELOP THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC SYSTEMS OF THE COUNTRY.

Sounds like a good idea. Actually, until America gets a strong third party, our Congress will be a bit less than a crowd of clowns playing government.

So far as they are following the Congress culture and they are accepted by the people, what is your problem?
Or you want the things to happen as you like them to happen. Sorry for you, Indian public may be illiterate, but they are not politically ignorant. It is the gratefulness for the Gandhi family that the poor and humble people of India have given this place to them. If it were left to we the intellectuals, we would have finished with them by now.
Let me tell you without any hesitation, that this family is better than all other leaders put together.

stop requiring millions of dollars to run for president so that any american can run. i think you would see a whole lot of new cadidates and yes some crackpots, but at least the american people would have a true decision in the election process, instead of having to vote for who has the most money.
