Brain sees with the help of mind which has the powers to think, emote and imagine.

The brain doesn't see at all. One of it's jobs is to supply electrical sensations to the nervous system which controls the voluntary and involuntary actions of the body.

The image on the retina is upside down. The optic nerve transmitts the information on the retina (not the actual image) and the brain deciphers the information and reverses the image right side up.
