it does sound kind of like a traditional andean song in the beginning but for the most part the song is more main stream.

Or look in here too.http://search.yahoo.com/search?search=Music+of+the+Andes&ei=UTF-8&fr=ks-ans&ico-yahoo-search-value=http%3A%2F%2Frds.yahoo.com%2F_ylt%3DAiv3TyAxMstweJbPNt4MeRUazKIX%2FSIG%3D111gjvvgj%2F*-http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.yahoo.com%2Fsearch&ico-wikipedia-search-value=http%3A%2F%2Frds.yahoo.com%2F_ylt%3DAp7vOYNUI0AVDK_JrTOjXvoazKIX%2FSIG%3D11ia1qo58%2F**http%253a%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FSpecial%253aSearch&p=Music+of+the+Andes

When i was looking it seems easier to find the music
easier by searching for "Music of the Andes"
I have Music from the Andes but the tune you speak of is not on it . Of course. But they do seem to play the Pan flute a lot never notice it before either how odd.
I did notice some people calling it a Clay Flute instead too.

Sorry I don't know the song u r looking for. BUT!!!! Sting does a great song with Pan Flute called, "They Dance Alone." It is very much appropriate for our current times also. Beautiful song, check it out. Get out your hanky tho, it is sad.
Peace, Peace, Peace,
Laurie
