Porn Watching - By what age ?

Question

(1) By what age can kids be allowed to watch porn ?

(2) Should they be allowed to watch Porn or should it be strictly forbidden ?

(3) What kinds of porn are good & what kind are Bad ?

I have been told that kids have access to porn at an early age & hence parents need to either scare their kids into NEVER watching porn , or if they cannot stop it , then they should at least be aware of their habits.

So either they are Totally Strict or very Liberal , there is no middle ground which is good .... is that correct ?

Tim , U R on the correct track , I did accidentally find some porn in my firends house , in her kids room. The porn was weird stuff. I have not told my friend & she is the kind of person to freak out. I want to talk to the kids myself OR if its better to forget about the episode now

Kids do not need to watch porn.. that's why it's rated for adults only!

I think the biggest problem with kids watching porn is that it gives them unrealistic expectations of what sex is like.

In the United states, legally, kids cannot view porn until they are 18, unless otherwise stated by state law.
Personally...i think kids should be allowed to watch porn whenever. Sex is just natural and learning about it early will help prevent them from developing meaningless taboos against it.

There isn't really morally good or bad porn, unless of course it depicts actual harm or illegal activity (children, bestiality, drugs, etc.)

But unless you want to face possibly serious charges...don't show anyone under 18 pornography.

The fact is, when kids start to get curious, they will watch porn. While being curious, masturbating, and watching porn are totally natural, it is important to make sure that kids know what real sex is supposed to be like. Porn is nothing like real sex, and it can give kids unrealistic expectations if they are not taught about real and safe sex.

I agree with the law. You should be at least 18yrs old to purchase and watch porn. Any sickminded person showing porn to KIDS should be brought up on charges. PERIOD.

Do the kids have Sex Education Classes in School ?

Yes - Then let them learn in school.

However let them know that if they even need your advice, they can come to you.

There is nothing called good porn & bad porn .... porn is sexually related literature (in form of pictures, text or movies)

porn shuld not be strictly allowed because when a child hear the wolrd strictly he /she is more inclined to watch.so it is better to explain that porn watching increases your desire to have woman and treat them like objects, which in my opinion is totally bad, i mean, helllo, porn involving lebians and gays is definately not healthy as it confuses the viewers identity ( at a very tender age ). it is better to have his/ her girlfriend strip in fornt of him rather than watching a porn,
