ok... you should look @ a question here asking about this phrase >>>> "I think therefore I am"

I didnt actually answered what it meant to me, because so many people got it right....

If you can think.... then you exist.... for that you are sure of... at least you are not an illusion...

If you were a illusion... then who is having you as an illusion, and why are you even thinking you are one, if illusions don't think... because illusions are not real, they do not exist, they only exist inside a individual or creature mind..... that creature or individual has to exist to be able to think and see illusions....

Those is make any sense at all.....

Hope it does!

Interesting though.
We as individuals can only see the world from our viewpoint .We assume others perceive the world about them similar to us .But there is no way to be sure .To that extent we are trapped in our own world and are alone with it .Even when we are in a room full of people we have no way of knowing if they see what we see or feel .We take it for granted they are like us .
I hope this is making a bit of sense as it is difficult to put into words what i am trying to say .

I believe things actually exist to me as an individual. But i can only assume they exist to other people .I would have to somehow borrow someones brain to be absolutely sure which is impossible.

Illusion my not be the right word. When explaining the way an eye functions the word interpret is used. To me this means that
there is an interpretation between what we see and what it actually is. I suppose it has to be explained in a way that our brains understand in order for us to see it.

A bit of a trip really.

If a tree knew you needed an interpreter to know it was a tree
who's to say it wouldn't lie.

We would never be the wiser.

I am one who believes in this thing being real as it gets !!
If this were an illusion-- I wouldn't EVEN care to see the real whatever behind it all--- might be a bit much for even me (I have an extremely strong stomach)

believing is subjective.
if i believe things do exist, it exists.
if i do not, it does not exist but only illusions.
in either case, only faith is the evidence of it all.
