The reason it can take a few generations to see something like blue eyes or red hair is that these are both recessive genes

Both your parents (or one of them) has blue eyes, and so it is passed down to you. For example, if your mum has brown eyes and your dad has green eyes, you could either have green or brown eyes, or, in some cases, have one green eye and one brown eye (an example of someone is Kate bosworth, who has one blue eye and one brown eye). Thats why you have blue eyes, because both or one of your parents has blue eyes, and since you were formed by them you have eyes like either your mum or dad (or maybe even both!) hope this helps!

your ancestors long ago lived near the ocean.it has to deal with the environment of your ancestors which came from Ireland, Scotland ,over around that area.of the world,you inherited blue eyes from your ancestors
