What the question asks...Ive looked around the net and havnt gotten much help so far...I know how to do the basics: text color,font,bolding,italicing,alignment,etc. I just dont know how to change background colors with BBcode -_-

The site says BBcode allowed...I have everything else input and ready...except the background color..I tried experimenting around, but (obviously) didnt come up with anything, so is it possible to change the background color? or is that a no-go?

Maybe you have to ask the webmaster whether they allow that BB code. Usually there are some restrictions for that. And so far I haven't seen one.

Different forums use different codes, but typically the ones that let you do it is something like this
[bg=lightgreen]
This background will be lightgreen
[/bg]
