that is waaay too much protien. you hamster should be fed mainly a high quality mix made for hamsters. only a tiny bit of veggies and not more than twice a week. too much can give them wet tail wich is fatal. romaine lettuce and broccoli are the best. friut should be given in very small ammounts and not more than once a week. aside from wet tail it is also high in sugar.

hamsters do not really need protien unless they are pregnant or nursing mothers. A TINY peice of egg once in a while is ok but never a whole one. And never feed your hamster egg that has had salt, pepper, cheese or anything to it. just cooked unseasoned egg.

feed your hamster a tiny handfull of regular cheerios. they are soo cute when they eat them.

HELL NO !
Dude just go to any pet-shop and buy some DRY hamster food, it contains all the vitamins & proteins the animal needs!
Occasioanal treats like some friuts and vegetables are good too.

P.S. Just where did u come up with giving eggs and chicken to a hamster???....perhaps u should do a fauvour to the animal and return it to the shop if u bought it in one, or give it to someone who has a lil more "common knowlage" ....lol

NO, you should never give your hamster egg. They are herbivores. If you want to give it a treat, try a raisin, or a cheerio, or a small piece of carrot. Would you toss a chicken wing in your goldfish tank ???

When my hamster was raising her pups i would give her a small amount of scrambled egg for more nutrients daily until the pups were weened. You should not feed them chicken but on rare occasions you can give them a little bit of scrambled egg.
