I have pain in my scar too and my doctor told me it was probably adhesions. She explained that the body is in layers and after a surgery, especially abdominal surgery, the layers have a tendency to heal together, so when you pull on one layer, it pulls all of them. As far as I know, the only way to get rid of them is to have another surgery, but then you could get adhesions from that surgery as well. Apparently, adhesions can affect another csection as the doctor has to cut through the scar tissue to get to your uterus but it doesn't pose as much of a problem if you have a VBAC.

Well I know how you feel. There are websites you can go to. I had a c-section with my first one, and want to try a VBAC with this this baby. Plus I still have pain in scar sometimes, and my daughter is 2.

I also have heard those stories. Most drs once know of the section will only do a section after that. I have had a section to deliver my babies and also have pain not during but after my periods for a day or two. I thought it was just me?M.O.

Although VBAC is possible, it is more than likely you will have another C-section. My doctor told me for my next child, that is what he plans. (I was in labor for 21 hours and failed to progress past 1 CM dilation).

I think when considering another child (or even your first) it is wise to consult your OB/GYN for advice on your attempt to conceive.
