Under the rocks, in a waterproof sandwich bag, in the aquarium, where my piranha lurk....
Also.....
Stitched into the liners of my 'depends' supply....
Tightly rolled up and shoved into my fishing pole....its' a three piece...
In empty beer bottles, in a case of 24's, in the cold room, and recapped for security reasons...
In the bottom of my flour bin...
And finally ....
In a rubber hose ...with sealed ends....on a chain ...strategically lowered into the toilet of our modernized outhouse..
(but this trully only for emergencies)

Dang, I read that as "monkey stash" and was starting to formulate an answer...still, it points out the "upside" of mild dyslexia!
Edit: When my husband's grandmother died they actually found stashes of cash all over the place. That and numerous bank accounts in various names - she'd been married 3 times, and also anglicised her (Polish) name, so it wasn't hard for her to open them. We've often pondered about what they might have missed...
And I found cash in the strangest places when I had to clean out my uncle's place too - but in his case I think it was absent-mindedness rather than design. He'd been on a trip to the US and had nearly $500 in greenbacks put aside as a souvenir! That reminds me, I still have all those travellers' cheques to try and redeem for his estate...oi oi oi!

Yes I do, but someone does know where it is.
No sense in my getting hit by a bus and have my daughter throw my favourite (Stephen King) books out while there are hundreds slipped between the pages!
I wonder how many hidden stashes remain buried in tins, burned in old mattressses, or secreted under floorboards and carpet?
Excuse me I have to go and change my hiding place!

I have a few numbered accounts in the Caymen Islands. Does that count? I always keep $100 in a compartment in my car. $100 in my glove box and $1000 in the heel of my boot. This helps if I run into a hot girl at Babes.
