We are thinking about moving from Erie, PA to somewhere in North Carolina . We was thinking about Goldsboro or somewhere in that area. We are thinking North Carolina because that is 1 of the states where his company that he works for is located.

My husband and I are looking to move from Erie to NC in a few months, too. We're going to look at Charlotte and Raleigh. Looks like those are the areas you're looking at, based on the counties you listed. My husband has lived in Raleigh and is familiar with that area... avoid Durham if you can. Cary and Chapel Hill are nice, but can be quite expensive. He says Raleigh and Charlotte are great places in general, though, if that helps. You didn't mention Wilmington, but that's a really nice area too. Also, avoid Jacksonville.

Go to Wake County (Raleigh, N.C.). There would be more opportunities. If you want to stay in a smaller town, you can live in Knightdale and Wendell and work in Raleigh (20 minute drive). Raleigh has more opportunities so go there. Durham wouldn't be a bad move either. But I prefer Raleigh the ebst and would recommend the city to anyone. Good Luck.
