In the programmes about slavery yesterday I saw a number of western-born black men describing how they feel their "African-ness".

Do they REALLY wish they were born to the life of an African in their native land?

No, but after recent visits to Africa I can say that a lot of the Africans there wish that they had been born in the UK.

Why are so many western black people insisting on playing the victim for something which happened to their ancestors? I saw a little black girl on a BBC program the other day. She said that she was confused about her identity because she has a white surname. She wasn't using typical words for a little girl her age. I doubt if she knows what some of them mean. She's just being brainwashed by adults. Do these people not realise how pathetic they look, and how embarrassing it is for other black and mixed race people who are trying to get on with their lives here. As for the people who were using this little girl to voice their opinions, I suggest they change their names if they are not happy with them!

I even have chanced on maximum British human beings to be extremely well mannered and particularly relaxing. i'm an American, the son of a Scotsman, and if there grew to become into ever a human beings to dislike the Brits, this is going to the two be a Scot or an Irishman. becoming up, I spent a minimum of at some point a week enjoying soccer with foreigners, because it grew to become into not a nicely nicely-known interest back then. the variations in our cultures clarify lots of ways we come across them as such, yet once you get to appreciate the persons, you will locate they are quite a relaxing loving bunch and make as lots relaxing of themselves because of the fact the do others. this is totally very nearly a British comical cultural element. They make relaxing of each and every others' in demand communities, lots as we do, yet their kind of humor comes in the time of a sprint "off" via our standards. So, purely attempt to understand our cultural variations are what makes us see them because of the fact the "extreme and stable, self-righteous assholes", (that and the reality that we beat them for our independence and a number of different are nevertheless bitter approximately that.)

I was born in Africa and consider myself African. Even though I am white.
My son's best friend is Nigerian and when I asked him how he liked Nigeria after a visit, he told me it was too primitive. Black people born in the Uk are white people with darker skins. I've heard this from many people.
I can do primitive.
By the way, I am of English/Scottish/French/Italian descent, and I still consider myself African. I am not European at all.

Don't see how feeling African-ness and wanting to be born in Africa are the same thing. In fact, they are not the same thing.
