Well, well, so nice to hear from one of our British “allies.” Where do you get your military stats? The Guardian or some other leftist rag your greasy fish n’ chips came wrapped in? Far from killing more friendlies than enemies, our troops have a better record even than yours (which isn’t bad, by the way). As for our right to keep and bear arms, its what made us free (from you), keeps us free (from tyranny), and makes it very unlikely that anyone will break into our houses when we’re at home. That’s the opposite of merry olde England, by the way, where most home invasions occur while the occupants are actually there. Wow, that must be fun! Thank God we’ve got real men here in America.

First off, the Pres is not in the only person in charge of the nukes. If that were the case, your precious Middle Eastern beacons of freedom would be glass right now. Not good. Takes more than one person to launch the big one. But you would have known that had you had opposable thumbs to open a book and actually read about the process.
And also, as horrible as blue on blue tragedies of war, it gives me a little incentive that perhaps one of those guys we got were another Sidney. Not like anyone would miss you or go to your funeral, or even know about it. In my book, that's a sure kill worthy of any if I do say so myself!
Sleep tight princess!

You poor schmuck, you think the fact that your government took away your right to keep a firearm has helped your country any?
British, Australian, and Canadian statistics for violent crime have done nothing but rise since each one of these countries repealed the right of their citizens to have a firearm in the home. Stop and ask one of your Bobbies if he feels safer today now that he can no longer carry only a night stick on patrol, but must carry a firearm of some sort to protect the citizens of your "fair" country.
How does it feel to know that your government wants the ability to crush any and all uprisings without the fear of being fired upon, even though your uprising is to stop the implementation of communism(only an example, not saying that England has gone completely bonkers). The citizens of the United States "Keep and Bear Arms" to protect themselves against home invasion, invasion by a foreign power, or an invasion from within(our own government). We will not just lay down and hand over our guns to some dictatorship, or Monarchy that wants to comply with UN resolutions and try to force us to succumb.

The states that have right to carry laws have less crime. Washington D.C.'s Gun law that prohibited the ownership of a gun was just struck down. With the law they had, they owned one of the highest crime rates in the U.S. Look at Australia. The right of ownership of any firearm was taken from the law abiding citizens. Guess who had the guns then. It took two years for the Government to figure out the laws and punishment for all the home invasion robberies. As far as our men hitting more "goodies than "baddies" why don't you, you weak tea drinking, crumpet eating pansy go over there and tell them how to do it.

I own many guns , I do not need a permit ,unless I carry it on me, I can carry it in the glove box of my car loaded or unloaded , ...I can get out on my property and shoot anytime day or night , because by county ordinance it is not considered disturbing the peace , I live in a neighborhood with 15 other families surrounding me , under the law ,I can still shoot , but I am responsible if my bullet causes personal injury , or damage to property , I am also certified through my state law enforcement division . which I did for job purposes not because I had to . I have shot guns at 4 in the morning ..it bothers no one where I live , they know who is shooting , they know I am responsible when shooting my firearms , so do not judge me based on an accident made by two members of the military on foreign soil , and I promise not to judge all Englishmen based on your stupidity , however that is like most of you people , sit back ,and judge others then complain because we are not as candy assed as all of you , If you all are as stupid as you , I would give them soldiers a metal for eliminating stupidity in the region .

Another British Slam at Americans.. call us all the names you want we kicked your *** not once but twice.. kind of slow weren't you?? but the light went on especially during WW2 when Americans volunteer to fight for "YOU" way before we entered the war. Yeh.. we might be monkey gun toting crazys but I bet if push came to shove you'd want to be on our team.
And the reason its written into the constitution that we get to have guns is so that the next stupid country who tries to invade us will have to face a standing Army of like 200 million and thats if only 2/3 of us have them.
By the way hows that Euro thing going? Whats next? will all of the countries in Europe be call one name?

See the Second Amendment to the US Constitution. The right to bear arms is important to a lot of people.
As to your "monkey" argument, that's just stupid. Here in America, we're much more comfortable with trusting people with handling their own personal freedom. And should the English really be the ones to make fun of our government? Well, at least our monkeys are independent and don't just follow other people's monkeys. Oh yeah, and we aren't paying millions to support an unelected monarcy either.

Popular Science (1996) said that most US police officers shot during each of the past 2 years were shot with their own handgun.
They said scientists were hoping to develop a handgun/pistol which could only be fired by the individual owner - either through fingerprint/dna ect.

We are allowed to carry guns, but we need a permit before we legally can. People here do it without that permit all the time though. Heck, it's to protect ourselves against crime, although I myself do not carry one. I carry a knife. Thank you Jim Bowie!
It is the British soldier's fault, Sir that they don't answer American radio calls to them during war. Blame your own unorganized people.
