It is not hard. You have to have a lot a patience and I highly suggest a transmission jack and a good buddy to help. I did it and it took me two days by myself. I had a 89 Honda Civic. Make sure that you have a manual with you. It helps a lot. Good luck. If you have time it will save you a lot of money.

It is a pain in the rear to do so. I put one in my 92 Hyundai which is the same of most 4 cylinder FWD vehicles.

If you do it, you should have a Haynes repair manual and the proper tools. And definitely good to have someone there too to help.
