Install the track first, making sure it is spaced properly along it's entire length. It must also be anchored securely enough to easily support the weight of the door. Next, assemble the door (in the track) starting with the bottom section and working your way up. Install the pulleys, cables and springs next. Most newer doors have springs that can be set or adjusted easily and safely. Good luck. It is probably a two person job, better have someone to help...

you can buy it installed for about $350.00 why bother - 16 x7
8 x 7 about $200.00
the winding of the spring is dangerous, it worth it not to deal with that or sharp metal parts!
