cause i have never heard any other female singer at any age range that could sing and belt so high and so amazingly that in my opinion she had reach the period of mastery of her singing ability.

i have always been a fan of mariah's since i could listen to music. lol. she is a great voclalist. also check out christina aguilara's cd stripped---great vocals on there!

No she has done a lot of stupid things that have put a dent in that career of hers, She is sorta messed up. And there is a lot of black female singers out there that are just as good. And they have made better choices when it came to their careers. The best vocals i have heard in a long time are Christina Aguilara i know the spelling is wrong.

Mariah Carey of direction. Beyoncé is trash. yet, Mariah is drained now :( would not truly sing anymore, she speaks in her songs now. What are you able to do? people get drained, her voice has been used for the previous 25 years...

Now she just to sing some better songs because she has a lot more misses than hits. It's positive criticism so don't take it the wrong way. I know she writes most of her own stuff and some of it just needs better sound (music) behind it

No! When she sings she slides up and down on the note and it sounds awful.
Now Celene Deyon, she got a set of pipes but she's not the best either.
