What do you mean on the average price? for people to travel in China or the chinese poeple's average salary ??
Last month I spend 2 weeks in the Chinese city GuangZhou and Foshan, the total cost is around 2 thousand except the flight ticket. That's not an expensive place but if you wish you can spent out your million dollars there!
Told by my Chinese colleagues their yearly earning is about 50-100 thousand RMB, depend on the city you live, ShangHai, Beijing and GuangZhou will be higher.
By the way, Be cautious when you're in GuangZhou's central train station, many slickers there. Had better take the formal hotel !

Why would you want a price for people in China? Is it for slavery, illegal sick practices, sweat shop workers????
