You might fall for your instructor if you were out on the piste with him- it would be an uphill struggle to reach your peak then.

Yes, it does boost your confidence to have group lessons, and it's fun. They teach you how to get back up after you fall, etc. Everybody falls. Next time, just relax a little more, enjoy the views, be happy. Make a snow angel when you fall!
I sure like the new skis. I hadn't skied for 20 years and tried out the new tech rental skis. I didn't fall the whole day and went down many new and varying levels of slopes. Enjoy being with your friends. It's a great sport.
