My boyfriend and I had un protected sex yesterday , my period is due in about 7 or 8 days, what are my chances of becoming pregnant? Im not sure on the whole ovulation thing...but Id been having cramps and stuff around the time we had sex so I may have been ovulating.

If your cycle is really regular and longer than 28 days, your chances are low.
If your cycle is irregular, I would consider taking an emergency contraceptive, if you want to avoid pregnancy.
Being responsible really IS worthwhile... it reduces the stress in your life.

Your chances are not too high as you did not time sex in the middle of your cycle. But all the some women can on some occasions ovulate later on in the cycle so your chances I would say are about 10%.

i cant' remember if ur chances are higher a week before your period or a week after. I'm almost certin its a week before.......but anyways
you have a VERY Good chance of being pregnant regaurdless.......I really hope that u wanted to have a baby and thats why u were being irresponsible and not using protection......i got pregnant my first time of unprotected sex...i was 20 and had been with my guy for 2 and ahalf years..........we now have been together 7 and a half years and have two babies!
good luck, but u should prolly get a test......ur at pretty high risk here..........

If your periods are regular then it's probably after the time to conceive. (it's usually about 14 days before and after your period). But it's always possible and you wont knw for a couple of weeks, unless you get a blood test from your doctor.

most women ovulate 10 to 14 days before their period... and once your egg is released it can survive for a few days before it is fertilized. also, sperm can stay alive inside of you for 3-4 days... so missy, you could very well get pregnant from this experience... was it worth it??? DO you realize how much money and energy it takes to raise a child!!
My advice to you, if your guy really cares for you, and if you respect yourself at all,
STOP HAVING SEX UNTIL YOU ARE MARRIED!!!

If you are unsure at all, get the morning after pill, i was told that you are more at risk of getting pregnant near the end and beginning of your cycle.

maybe but don't worry about it now, if your not then all of the worrying can prolonge your menstration, wait and see if it comes at least a week after your late
