Since cricket is a game of uncertainties, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of the world cup in advance.
While Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zeland and West Indies are in advantageous position having got 2 points each from the group stage, the final outcome will depend upon which teams will perform consistently in the super 8 stage.

It all depends on the displays of the teams in the World Cup and since the cricket ball is round, the world is round, so all these teams have a round chance of getting their name on the Cup
Amongst the favourites I choose Australia but I do think that Sri Lanka can also go towards the Cup amongst the Underdogs...

well after australias performance against south africa i think australia will win for sure i just dont think they will play sa in the final anymore so i think it will open up for maybe sri lanka? dont think the poms are gunna get there but
