Definitely the book. I"ve read OOTP and while I am still going to be at the midnight showing of the movie I'm excited a little bit more for the book because I have to know what happens!!! 2 main characters are going to die and while I have many theories on what would happen... I'm sure that JK will make it even better than anything I'm thinking of! Besides they are really the only books that I will read anymore, lol. Yay Harry Potter!!! I am excited about the big duel at the ministry in the movie though...

definitely... the book
as u said v know what will happen in movie 5 but book 7 is a total mystery
I think it'll be more exciting than the other parts and i die for july 21st to come soon. I also feel sad b'coz it's going to be the last book and there won't be any books.
I think, in the deathly hallows Rowling would reveal that snape is not a death eater and dumbledore told him to do so b'coz of a grand plan to destroy the death eaters(i can say that dumbledore is dead b'coz rowling had already said that in an interview). Snape had done everything without asking anything whatever dumbledore said in the first 6 books. And he abides these words also and so he kills him. I think the flashback will come in book 7 and so it'll be more exciting.
Rowling had told that there will be many deaths in the incoming book. So there is much less possibility for harry and his friends to die. All the death eaters will die, I reckon.
Therefore it's going to be a really nice one...

7th book! The movies aren't that great. I enjoy them, but they are really just what occupies my time between books. Plus I think they should have waited until all of the books were published before they started the movies. What if there is some huge puzzle piece, connection thing between all 7 books that wasn't mentioned in the movies. It could ruin the final movie. You never know! The best movie was the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone, well, in my opinion. Anyways, High-five for HP7 book!!

I am with you on wanting to read the book.
I liked Goblet of Fire, the movie, but I thought about how much they had left out, and that's probably what They will do with the 5th movie, don't get me wrong, I am excited.
The Deathly Hollows will excite me the most, because it is the last book in the incredible series and there are so many questions that will be answered.
Hope I helped with my opinion!

Book 7, being the unknown quantity, generates much more interest. Order of the Phoenix, while interesting and very important for moving the plot forward, does not lend itself to the visual excitement that Goblet of Fire had. But, a new Potter movie and the final book all within a few days of one another...what Potterphile would not be thrilled!

The book, NO QUESTION. After all of the stuff they left out of the 4th movie, I can only assume that they'll leave out even more in the 5th (because of what they left out in 4 and because of the fact that 5 is the longest book), I don't know what to expect from the 5th movie.

I'm a book fan, can't wait for July.
I will probably see the 5th movie for the ministry of magic fight scene - but I agree with the rest of the people, Important parts of the books are left out of the movies. I'd rather watch a 4 hour movie than an incomplete movie.

The book. First, I don't really like the movies. They make Harry look like a conceited snob. Not that they meant to. It just seems that way. Besides, books are way better because you can find out what's going on inside people's heads.

i'm a bookworm and i'm totally excited about the seventh book. i prefer the book than the movie because the movie has more cuts especially the 3rd movie!
i wish this time the director will make the movie magical like the 1st and 2nd movie than making it it horror-like.
i'm really excited for the release of the last book. (.^___^.)

I have never read the books and I am beginning to think I should. But at this point in time, I think I would rather see the movie.
