Honestly you don't. it's a matter of trust, and seeing that he got that far with the woman, there is an issue in the marriage that he doesn't feel comfortable talking to you about. i suggest some counseling. Here is a website explaining the issues of an emotional affair. You have to make your own decision on what's next. Your heart will tell you what to do.

Emotional meaning they had strong feelings for each other?? You don't know and you probably won't. She's still there and i don't think it's that easy to get over someone when they see each other everyday and all day. I could be wrong but since he knows you probably know they could be trying to stay low keyuntil they think everything has boiled over. But that's not easy to do either since it's known now.Firing her might not do him any good since she could turn around and say she got fired for personal reasons. Then all hell could break loose. You could end up losing him anyway. It's a tough situation for them now since they know you know. i've had relationships like that and things never worked out. digging into it won't help you because if they aren't over it, they are going to lie anyway. If you decide to stick it out then you will have to try very hard not to think about it because you will never know the truth. You need all the blessing you can get. whatever you find out be strong ok?

the hard part is, you don't. only he does.
if you ask him, he will tell he is over her because he doesn't want to hurt your feelings or he is trying so hard to convince himself that he is over her so he is lying to himself as well. Or he might be telling you the truth!
Emotional affairs are a difficult thing. A colleague of mine finally admitted to having one with another co-worker of ours. It was blatantly obvious to all of us at work. She's married to a good man who adores her and has two boys. He is single and 5 years younger than her and has no similar feelings for her. She adores our male colleague and dotes on him day after day. : /

Befriend one of the people that works side by side with them and have them kinda look for any suspcious signs. or hire a private investigator if you got the money of course. you may never find out but what does around really does come back around

are you saying they never even kissed? ..if it was emotional? and if it was just emotional the other girl must have not felt the same or else they'd be together. Doesn't make sense for him and her to be liking each other yet he's still with you....... if i were you i'd dump him. Besides isn't it unethical for love scandals to be happening at the worksite? and i dunno i wouldn't trust em

you have to trust him. try working on your relationship and do not obsess over his relationship with this woman. you will be able to recognize the signs if things are still going on.
