The people needed a change from the sadam regime but now they are fighting each other to see who should control the country, eventually power will go to the most powerful in any situation, but if we continue to have a presence their we intefere with who controls the country because we are a third party that wants to dictate a nation that is so much older than ours and has its own history.

if we leave , i think the world would be shocked at how fast the country regulates itself, the people will know that their is no protection from america against any ethnic group and things will shape up faster than we could ever dictate.

The Bushies were just plain ignorant when they thought that American force could put a democracy into place anywhere they darn please, least of all a Muslim stronghold being torn at the seams by sectarian clashes.

We could spend 40 years there and $100 trillion dollars, and still, the moment we leave the country it would return to civil war and eventual dictatorial rule.

Yes!

The lid is going to blow off when we leave anyway, so the sooner the better. I don't want to see this civil war spread into Iran and other neighboring countries!
