Do you need the govt to take care of you? Do you need the govt to tell you what to think, first thing in the morning when you wake up?
If so, please vote for either a Democrat or a Republican for President in 2008?
Do you have any suggestions as a better way to guarantee that we will be told what to think, how to act and when it's ok to laugh, than to elect another President from one of the big two parties?

I think it's important to be able to TRUST your elected officials to do EXACTLY what they say they'll do, and not do things against the will of the people who elected them. Call me crazy.

This is one of the greatest fears I have as an American. The government also wants to monitor what books you checkout in the Public Library. And also don't forget that in 5-years' time we will have US ID cards, thumbprint and all. Big Brother is getting too big for his britches.

I've noticed that both parties have started their campaigns very early for the 2008 election. Most people will have lost interest by the time election day arrives. I believe that both parties are afraid that the mobocracy is fired up right now. And the last thing they want is to see 90% of us at the voting stations. They prefer it when half of us don't bother to vote.

No, I examine that privatization act, and it can in all likelihood be only as undesirable as getting the money to commence with, seeing as they both reduce an same volume into nationwide deficit. I care extra about senor electorate, and warfare victims, than a debt, so my causes for accepting SSI by way of the indisputable fact that's now, and could proceed to proceed to be in existence.

No, but to vote other than democratic in the last and next election, and you guarantee four more years of plunder, death and destruction. Pick a third party candidate and the friends of Bush/Cheney win again!

listen and think.... if we all can handle ourselves without a government to begin with, why do we have one? its because of safety and security and laws that we want and need.... and we also need them to be enforced.... so if theres a loophole that people go through, like say how some people srpread child-porn through the internet, you're dam right i want to the government to oversee that and stop such illegal behavior.

Yes ignore all of the stuff going on around you. If a vote comes up be sure to be there to cast it.

Since the government controls the media, they also control what they want you to think. You usually don't have much of a choice.
