I just upgraded my phone, looking for a good quality cell I ended up with a blackberry. What is blackberry?

I upgraded to a samsung t719 that has blackberry. Is it just a program used for email?

Blackberry is something that fast-talking sales-people sell to unsuspecting customers.
You really don't need the ability to check your email via cellphone unless you are an executive or self-important.
Trade it in for a razr.
