I had warned of this danger in my previous questions. Most of us were looking beyond the super 8 only to trip at the first hurdle.
Please pick the probable reasons:
1.Under estimation of Bangla desh
2.Poor fielding/running between the wickets.
3.Poor batting/bowling
4.Lack of strategy,leadership
5.Any other(pl. specify)

Our exit from the WC was the loss to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka

1. We lost to Bangladesh due to sheer arrogance and under-estimation of the opposing team.

2. We lost to SL due to sheer poor batting and lack of aggressive attitude and the will to win, also known as 'junoon'.

Dear Cricket lovers of India,
We have no reasons and any excuse of failure leads you nowhere.
Let us understand that we were never a big power in Cricket.
As to answer this question I am giving a funny answer which none of you can refute.
India lost due to Mrs.IndiraGandhi.Mrs.Gandhi created the country called Bangladesh. It is her blunder.
I dont blame the players or the coach. It was not a surprise to me that we did't enter last eight.
One day cricket is about all rounders. You need atleast 3 or 4.What we had.4 wicket keepers.

all of the above plus over confidence. Our players get more money from endorsements then from the match fee. all they need to do is play one game with a good score..and our endorsers run with bounty after him.
they do so many endorsements that they forget they are popular due to this game.
Frankly it is not only the fault of our players it is the fault of the system. As Siddu in an interview said "if a hand pics up a thing it is the hand's responsibility, just a finger could not have done anything. so just cutting the finger would not help"
We need to dig deeper. This is a time our team needs to understand that they are what they are because of the game.

I think the reason india ave been knocked out is because of there underestimation of bangladesh. Also they ave not batted we recentlly. In the India-sri lanka match i think instead of taking harbanjan sing they should have taken kumble. And I think that the indians fans treat the players like god. So they dont even work on there fitness. If the fans start not liking them then the players will fell that they have to work hard and that is what shoul happen

Ofcource one you stated i.e.'under estimation of Bangladesh' is also one reason but in my opinion main is the "getting away more from sportsmanship and in true sense accepting more commercialisation of the cricket". The cricket clubs have today become the cricket corporates and more interested in the business to earn money than to promote the sports, and in such situation how do you expect an sportsman to carry sportsmanship once he is well paid off for just participating.

I don't denie to comercialise sports, but the aim to comercialise it be limited only for promotional aspect of the sport. I suggest sports must not, directly or indirectly, be listed as business.
Gentleman commercialising the sports must cease to retain the sportsmanship in players of not only cricket but all games. Once this is done away with the win or lose have got no meaning or importance.

Lack of strategy, good leadership, good form of the players, huge expectations from the fans, bad fielding/batting and last but not the least over-confidence.

Apart from the factors listed by you, complacency, over confidence, lack of application, dedication, fighting spirit and killing instinct are some more reasons for the early exit of Indian team from the world cup.

All the points mentioned by you from sr. no. 1 to 5 plus inflated egos of Indian players which comes in the way of better team work ie. internal rift & groupism of players on and off the field

Irresponibility, Unfit (untrained) to play under pressure, non-rotation of strike b/w wickets (every single could have made the victory closer) and all the above u mentioned.

Perhaps over confidence and poor performance in batting bowling and fielding are responsible.
