Can I also thank you for showing the younger generation who really does fight for what they want?

Whoever is giving these nice people thumbs down, unless you're gay, bi or a transsexual this really doesn't concern you, so go away now

Thank you very much, Dearest, we love you too!!! We do appreciate it when our efforts are noticed. As for the thumbs down folks, there's my furry little otter behind.....We can hope we're showing the ones who come after the right way to keep on at it. No, most of the straight people already do know. They just don't realise that they *do* know it. Most of them have already fought for one battle or another for something they beleived in; now it's our turn to make them remember.
Blessings to all of us and remember: it's better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

Thank you, kind one!
I work for a large gay arts organization in Seattle. We have had several straight members for years. I find it heartening to know that there are straight guys out there who are so comfortable w/ themselves they have no qualms rubbing shoulders w/ us gay men.

I hope anyone who reads these answers knows that 'Joe C' is full of horse manure. His quotes are propaganda, lies spread by people who think that people become gay by deciding to do so (and are thereby somehow nothing more than 'disobedient heterosexuals') His skewed 'statistics' are cobbled together from 'resources' that begin with the premise that homosexuality is wrong in all of its forms. The percentages in his quote all reflect this bias. Any real scientific study will show that the similarities between gay people and straight people are far more numerous than are the differences.

If 'Joe C' really wants to learn a few things about lesbian and gay people, he should spend some time with them, rather than listening to people who have such enormous fear and hatred in their hearts. I would recommend looking to see if such 'sources' are funded by organizations with a predetermined bias. It is far more scientific to read sources that actually study their subject, not sources that begin by condemning them. I recommend beginning with a resource that is truly unbiased: the American Psychological Association. See the link below.

Thank you but trust me we aren't all nice people, and some straight people I know have a lot of guts. Let's just admire good people of all sexualities.

I wish the world was over populated with a mind set like your's, and I know from hiring many young people to work for my company that most are in fact much more open minded.

Thank you

Those of us who know you do know that quite well and thank you.

I find it funny that people like Joe C have to try to use DISCREDITED and out of date information in desperation to disparage those he hates.

thanks so much! we always know we have an ally in you!
as for Joe C...just another misguided bigot who obviously believes in every lie, assumption and generalizing stereotype he's ever heard...and just repeats it like a parrot. repeating lies over and over doesn't make them true....but the ignorant and uneducated obviously believe this crap!
message to Joe C....get some therapy or go play in traffic!

Hi, and thanks - we need more people like you around!

I think all anyone can really do is be themselves, and it's a shame when people feel they can't, but there are a lot of misguided people out there who make it more difficult.

Thanks for your wonderful support and friendship!
