if i wasn't running i would choose this righteous man who has a rational position on the middle east and doesn't overpromise. but more important he means to zap the corruption with the lobbyists, rats, and congressmen. he will tear the defense dept. a new ******** and wait until you see just what is really behind that kindly smile and never losing his cool. afterall, he is a proven patriot and from two admirals etc. and his wife is stunning. he has been treated for melanoma but seems to be okay.

NO WAY! Anybody that is for amnesty and open borders is NOT a "fine and intelligent" person.

I am a Democrat. I do respect John McCain for his past. He's a man of honor, and I take him at his word. I also believe he's flexible and more rational than the present administration. I don't care if he loses his temper. That's what some of those nutjobs in DC need to hear! I met him in 2002 at a Vietnam War memorial presentation. He gave one of the most remarkable speeches I've ever heard. He spoke of Americans choosing to do things above and beyond something greater than ourselves. He spoke of heroes, of what this country could become again. A light snowfall was coming down behind him and even though he is unable to even comb his hair because of fractures that were not treated by the Viet Cong during his years as a POW, he signed autographs for veterans like myself. I knew he was tired & cold, but he thanked each vet for our service. I won't forget that night. I have differences with him, but as a man with deep character, I would say that much about him.

I think he has turned his back on his fellow military since he been back. If anyone should know that military needs hospitals and help when they return it would be him, yet he votes against any thing that would help vets.
He also is only voting on things that would help the rich, and now supporting to give free rides to criminals.
