I am an american and I am currently getting my degree in Belgium. I have lived in france as well. Studying in another country is quite hard. You should look at the coutries' university requirements before choosing a country. I was acctually going to get a degree in speech therapy which here in Belgium is only offered to native students. Also, for your high school diploma, you need to get it certified in that country prior to being accepted to study and pass a certain test to make sure you can study in that language. Same thing goes for university credit if you have any. On a personal note if you are english speaking I would suggest Holland or Ireland. In Holland they have part english speaking universities but not everywhere.

Depends on what you want! Holland and Switzerland are continental, so you could really easily and cheaply travel on your school breaks or weekends. Air travel is affordable, also, if you book with the right airline, but more of a headache than just hopping on a train! All those countries are very pretty, but when I visited Sweden I felt like I had walked into Disneyland! It was just so clean and scenic! (Then again, I had just come from an industrial city in Siberia just after the Iron Curtain fell, so my perceptions might not be wholly trustworthy!) The Swedes in general are absolutely lovely people and so nice when you get to know them, but they tend to be more reserved than what I'm used to in California. While the Irish that I encountered, on the other hand, were very outgoing!
I think no matter where you study abroad you are going to have an amazing time, and depending on how long your stay is you could even visit all those countries and more. I suggest doing some research on those countries (what the weather's like, what the natives are like, food, etc) and decide where it is you want to LIVE. Because you will be calling it home for a while, and you want to make home and nice as possible!

Why not google up the 4countries that u have suggested and see which one that wud provide u with more activities that u'll like to do besides school. It doesnt matter which country u choose, its the standard of the university that u need to look out for also the cost and standard of living.I know a lot of students from Lund University , Sweden. There is a lot of foreign students.Lund is located down south of Sweden, in Skåne,which isnt too far from Denmark. Then again, its all upto u,which country u wud like to stay/be in.All the countries u have mentioned has its own beauty but if u are the type that wud like landscapes..Ireland,Sweden...Swiss wud be ur choice.Good luck anyways! Cheers!
