I found out today that i am 2 months pregnant. I already have 4 children aged 6, 3 and 6 month old twins. How do i tell my husband? He only wanted 3 kids to begin with and now we going to have 5!

Telling him, Sometimes actions speak louder then words. Give him pregnancy test and give it to him with the positive reading on it or let him find it on the vanity. Or another idea is to gather information about procedures that would permanently prevent you and him from ever getting pregnant again and include a daddy tool belt wrap it up and let him open it as a special gift, to let him know that you are pregnant and next time you need more than a pack of birth controll pills that is why they are only 90 something guaranteed to work and 100% guaranteed to work. Or another idea find brochures on passenger vans you are going to need one. That may break the ice and bring up the subject of being pregnant again. Are you sure that it is only one and not another set of twins? I wish you the best.

I can see how this could present as being a slight issue, but once he gets used to the idea I am sure he will be delighted. Maybe just lay broad hints at first to give him an idea that it is a possibility. Do some fake vomiting in the bathroom if you have to stating that you cannot understand how come you feel sick all the time. Then when the seed of doubt has been laid, break the news gently.
The thing of it is that these days it is darn hard to be a good parent to three kids so it takes a hell of a lot more time and effort to do a good job with 5. But as soon as you hold that little one in your arms you won't care how many kids you have. You may on occasion when your kids are teenagers question how you could have felt that way, but even teenagers are worth the effort.
Oh and congratulations on your pregnancy!

Hey, if you were on birth control, you obviously did your part, not all women are protected by birth control. If he wanted only 3 children, then he either needs to get himself fixed or put a rain coat on... He can't be upset with you, your not trapping him, you already had children, heck what's 1 more... SAVE EVERYTHING from those twins!!! Good luck, your going to be a VERY busy woman, not like your board or lazy now maybe time for some new running shoes or a maid! ;op And pray every day that this is only 1 baby - people sometimes have more than 1 set of twins.

I'm sure this is a serious repeat that you might rather have at least waited a while, huh?
Are you folks practicing Catholics? If y'are, bless the occasion and pray for the strength.
If y'not, however, there seems to be a matter of two grownups here who aren't acting responsibly in using protection of some kind.
There are times when some difficult decisions need to be made (like discontinuing the pregnancy) and this might be one of them.
It's never easy opting for this latter, but it is an option.
You know best whether or not your hubby might even consider this latter, but if there's a chance he would and you really are just sooooo tuckered out already, then forgive each other and get on with it; your other children need energetic parents to keep up with them.
Good Luck

Aww congrats! Youll have your hands full, but you have been truly blest! I got pregnant when my twins were 3 months old. They are now 18 montths, and my son is 6 months. Its crazy here too! Just tell your husband to be careful next time :) And it wont happen again, you promise :)

Wow congrats, what is done is done!!
Abortion is a definite No No.
Wait till he's in a good mood. Spring him a surprise. What you can do is buy a family album, paste pix of all of you & in one area, put blank cards which say "New Arrival" & present it to him. Remember to give him a peck when you hand it over to him :) & tell him "Darling, our love has blossomed again!!"
All the Best!

Hey congrats. You will have 5, well so be it. Tell your hubby the truth. You now will have learned after this pregnancy to be more careful with contraception.
All the best!!
