If the outer casing of an appliance is giving you an electric shock that is extremely dangerous. The smallest shock is enough to send your heart into arythmia and cause heart failure, especially in your young daughter.
I strongly advise you to not attempt any work your self but I don't think that the problem would be at the supply pole and the electrical wiring system is different in U.S to Australia, so I couldn't advise you on a problem with the distribution box.
Go to a local electrical goods supplier and ask a saleman or visiting electricial contractor for advice.
Don't touch anything but have a look if any wires have come loose e.g. bare copper wire is exposed.
You need to weigh up the cost of getting a licensed electrician or losing one of your family members.

STOP don't touch any wires if you don't know what you are doing, and DO NOT touch anything at the utility pole, you could be electrocuted! This sounds like an internal wiring problem and you need to call an electrician before someone gets seriously hurt. For now, I suggest turning OFF the Main breaker for your house, so that everything is dead. Then, pull out the appliances affected and unplug them. You need to get a qualified electrician in to fix it tomorrow. Keep in mind that faulty wiring is also a fire hazard.

Yes. That is why most appliances made in the last few years state "no user serviceable parts". The don't want you to open the appliance or take it apart, because it will shock, possibly electrocute you. They don't want that liability. Heed the warnings, and play it safe. Better safe than toast. If you're looking to profit from the scrap wire, many places you can take the scrap to, will take the appliance and decimate it themselves- but you may not get as much $$ that way. Of course, if you fry yourself, $ will no longer seem a priority.

Since your husband is handicapped make some calls quick before someone gets killed you should qualify for assistance either in housing or some help. You either have a direct short in your wiring or there is two wires touching that shouldnt be.Keep your your family away from the appiances until someone looks at it that knows what they are doing and dont try to fix it yourself.

You definitely have a grounding problem in your trailer. Make sure the trailer's master ground is properly grounded. If you're not sure, have someone check it; I know an electrician costs a lot, but spending money is better than being dead. Have the power company come out to check the pole ground - they have to do that if you ask. Otherwise, do not use appliances that need grounding (not just those in the kitchen) without being sure they ARE properly grounded first.

Don't mess with this yourself, get an electrician to fix it. Electricity can be deadly; you can not afford NOT to let a qualified person look at it. Many things you can fix yourself or just forget about and deal with the discomfort; this isn't one of them.

You are not qualified to repair this yourself. If people are getting shocked, you have a grounding problem. You need to get an electrician to fix this before someone gets killed!

you probabaly have a cold water pipe ground! the fact that it's a trailer & your daughter was not standing on a bare slab probably saved her life!
your electrical system is grounded to your water system, you nee to install a ground rod at you elect. box, & see if you can find the cold water pipe ground, & or a faulty water heater or dishwasher! no joke - life threatening!
