Not really. Gasoline is still pretty much a bargain if you factor-in inflation. If government bureaucrats and leftists are so upset about the price of gasoline, maybe they should consider removing their gasoline taxes.

Yeah...we ARE retarded. Not because we're paying $3 a gallon, but because the government subsidizes gas prices with tax dollars. The REAL price of gas should hover at about $6 a gallon.

Somewhat. I think that we should try to do something about it. I can remember back to 2001 before September when gas where I'm at was at the lowest .99 a gal and at the highest 1.29 a gal. It seemed like overnight that gas began it's steady climb. Gas stations that only made 3 or 4 cent jumps were making like 30 or 40 cent jumps!!! Total madness. I'm scared of what summer is going to bring.

I do think that Bush might have something to do with it. Who wouldn't want a small mint in their bank? The oil/gas companies were making PROFIT off of all of us.... It didn't seem to me that they had it hard.

i'm not American, but 3 bucks a gallon is stilll less than .75 a liter. Based on that, 1 gallon of gas here is a whopping 4.60 so, umm, ya

I think it shows a gross ignorance of economics and history. There are many, many factors that go into the price of gasoline (not the least of which is the ridiculous taxes we pay on it).

Look up OPEC and stop annoying us with your stupidity.
