Let's not forget the French scientist that first suggested Global Warming now states that his findings were premature.
What do you think the next misfortune to befall us will be?

Ah crap I forgot to say "Man-made" global warming for the semantics out there. Let it be known that there is no issue about whether or not the Earth has been heating up, the debate is over the cause. From everthing I've read... its the sun thats causing it. Think about it and it'll make a lot more sense to you.

I agree pollution is bad. I'm all for efficientcy.
I don't however agree that the air I exhale is hurting the environment in any way. CO2 is not the problem in L.A.

Jen: wrong. People don't need drama, they need cool, rational decision makers.

What in the world does the genesis of life have to do with Global Warming? Freudian slip much?

You're kidding right? Dear God.. Certain findings may be over dramatic in certain cases, but its not false. Did you ever think that the reason some of it may be so dramatized is because people need that drama? They need to wake up and see what is going on before there is no earth to pass on to our grandchildren..

Well, it's simple. Global warming is real and happening as we speak. In fact, it's consequences have been known for more than 5 years, and probably scientifically detected for more than 10 years. If you would do a bit of informal research, into scientific data of the carbon in the earth's atmosphere alone, then you'll notice that the air pollution alone is around 5 times higher than it's been over a recorded period of 350,000 years. This data is extracted from the Vostok core.
Anyways, it does not matter if people believe it or not. Go and ask the blind domestic animals in Chili why they have skin cancer, or the Autralians why their produce is on average 40% smaller than usual? Ask the Americans why their storms are growing mightier by the year, and more frequent? Ask the Japanese why there suddenly are so many earth tremors and quakes in Asia? Ask the polar bears why their numbers are diminishing, and ask the Alaskian elk why their numbers have decreased by over 40% over the last 10 years?
perhaps, they'll all answer you differently, but it would all point to one thing; the global weather is changing and it is beginning to have ubelievable impacts on the land, then animals, then man.
Yes, you're right, global warming would cease to be a problem when it has been surpassed by drought, famine, perstilence and war.

I even have seen this text in numerous press releases, so i'm skeptical aboutthe complete worldwide warming venture. I do think of that something we are able to do to cut back toxins is powerful, yet i could particularly spend $10 a month to the national arbor day beginning place than spend $1500 a 300 and sixty 5 days for my carbon credit. for the reason that that's certainly one of those profitable corporation, I even have concept approximately beginning my own carbon credit corporation and figuring out to purchase up old farms and planting timber that i will sell. The fowl flu has been in the information for the previous 2 or 3 years. A chum of mine works for the interior sight zoo and he's the top of animal operations. He informed me that Avian Flu or fowl Flu because of the fact the press calls that's a humorous tale. He informed me that the only way you may capture that's that in case you reside in close proxmity on your cattle as they do in 0.33 international international locations. So his direct quote grew to become into "there is not something to worry approximately fowl flu, except you're a fowl." worldwide Warming, fowl Flu, etc. are a great deal blown out of share. the international warming argument has been occurring for over one hundred years and that they commerce between worldwide warming and cooling. So provide me a harm!

Yes, we do have a problem with global warming, but have we looked at the correlation between GW and global deforestation. If we continue to remove that which renews/recirculates our pollutants to breathable air you are bound to have adverse effects. And looking at what the earth tells us, this is just part of an on going earth cycle, a bit accelerated this time, but natural.
The next misfortune to befall us will be the near total ignorance/stupification of mankind......OOP's like he said, they all ready did that?

In a decade or so maybe the scientists will have a "hissy fit" about "global cooling" and a possible ice age like they did back in 1974 - "Times" article was very interesting.

Global warming isn't false. It's just exaggerated. If you don't think we're harming our environment with air pollution, then you obviously have never been to LA on a smoggy day.

Headlines for March 25, 2008:
"Liberal Scientists have discovered that the sky isn't supposed to be blue, but actually green."
New York: Scientists today have learned that the sky is really supposed to be green, but because the Republicans are in power, they turned it blue so as not to get it confused with all the money they're stealing from poor people...

They're going to milk global warming for all it's worth.
I think the next one will have something to do with water. And, of course, it will all be Bush's fault.
