From a philosophical standpoint, what do you think life is - sorry for not being more specific the first time around.

In my high school Biology class I was taught that all living organisms have seven things in common: reproduction capabilities, a nucleus, a waste removal system, need water, and other stuff I can't remember.

Four out of seven should win best answer.

Well..if were talking about philosophy, life is about growing. It's about improving on your parent's generation and on an every day level making yourself a better person.
