Gotta think with the head on your sholders first. I recommend truly best friends, hooking you up. Word of mouth, yr friends should know what you like, and should come across someone at work, school, ect. I've had luck like that. The gay bar scene, I've gone twice this month and I've seen the same people there, so I got eyed for being the "fresh meat" and I didnt like that. Be who you are, and distinguish yourself being openly gay, leaves you open for possibilities. Or just open, ha! Good luck.

u have to be careful with this one. i have found it best to go online. adultfriendfinder is good..it costs some money if u want to find everyone and really get in touch but it's been safe for me. onlinebootycall.com is another good on. i've only been able to pick someone up in public twice. i've never been to a gay bar though. hope this helps.

Well first of all you can meet guys eveywhere. but if you want you can go on a chat that is really popular with gay is www.gay.com there is a chat room for allmost every city and you can definately find someone there. You can remain private. until u choose to disclose your picture to them. GOOCD LUCK AND BECAREFUL

If you have any public toilets around your area try their as that's what I did when I got started, You can pick up some really hot guys some even straight just out looking for some fun.

just go out and try, make yourself available and someone will try to pick you up. Craigslist.com is a great way to "hookup" go to the casual encounters section for your city and state post or reply to ads you might be surprised at how much you get.
