If you are referring to Scuba and that sort of diving. There is normally Recreational diving, comercial diving (the people that do work underwater like welders, etc. and all their specilaties. For wxample you can specialize on rebreather diving, tri-mix, Nitrox, wreck diving, cave diving, and so on on.
