Are you auditioning for a specific part or the ensemble? Because my sister and I were discussing this same exact question for an audition she was going to for Grease with the same requirements. She was going to audition for Rizzo and we came up with the song "You don't own me". Technically, it is a very, very early 1960's song but it sounds like it is from the 1950's time period.
